Are storage units month to month?
Yes! We rent our storage units on a month-to-month basis to give you the flexibility to rent for whatever amount of time makes sense for you.
Are long-term storage solutions offered?
Yes, If you’re in need of a long-term storage solution, we work with customers who have long-term self storage needs and allow you to prepay on a yearly basis (12 months).
When are my rental fees due?
Your rent is due on the 1st of every month and late after the 5th of the month.
If payment is not received by the end of the day on the 5th day of the month a late fee of 20% of your rental rate is applied to your account.
Will I receive a monthly bill?
We will send you a notice via text or email. Paper statements will only be mailed out by request. A fee may be applied to paper statements.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, money orders and cash.
What is your move-out policy?
Please provide a 15 day notice before vacating. When you are ready to move-out, ensure that your unit is clean, all belongings have been cleared out and your lock has been removed, this will avoid any additional fees.
Are there any restricted items?
Yes, there are some item you may NOT store, including but not limited to flammables, hazardous materials, food, perishable items, live plants and animals. Occupying the unit as living quarters is prohibited by law and is cause for criminal prosecution.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, you are responsible for the items you store and insurance for those items is required. We do offer affordable third party insurance/protection plans to our tenants. Hyde Storage LLC is NOT responsible for damaged or lost items.
What if my storage space size needs change?
If you are an active customer and your storage space size needs change, you can request a transfer to a larger or smaller unit at any time. With no long-term contracts and monthly billing, you’re not locked into a unit. To request a transfer, contact a representative at your existing storage facility.
What are the facility hours?
The facility is accessible 7 days a week, 6 am to 10 pm. 24 hour access is available upon request and approval.
What is climate-controlled storage?
Climate-controlled storage facilities are facilities where temperature and humidity are managed within the building. We keep the temp between 65 to 85 degrees depending on the time of the year. This means your items don’t get exposed to changes in temperature and humidity outside, which can cause damage to your items should they be in storage long-term.
